Melanie is an actor, playwright, singer-songwriter, voiceover talent and proud member of SAG/AFTRA and AEA. She writes, produces and directs SAG signatory audio plays from home. In recent years, Mel has performed with several local theatre companies like Shotgun Players, Cutting Ball Theatre and the O'Neill Foundation. When she’s not writing at a cafe or practicing the mandolin, Mel enjoys singing to her cat, Bridget Jones and riding her e-Bike. Nothing in the performing arts is a solo act - even a solo act. We need each other to tell our stories. Mel writes and friends have graciously joined her in making music, recording songs, delivering podcasts and producing short films. And the ideas keep coming.
